Taxis

Travelling by taxi lets you travel exclusively and chose your individual route. Anyone wanting to go to a specific place, or return from one, for example after a day of hiking, taxis offer a good value for money option.

Taxi journeys cost about 50 cents/km. A surcharge is made in the evenings, on Sundays and public holidays, for waiting times and for luggage.

When entering a taxi, you should pay attention to the taximeter. For longer journeys, taxi drivers have pricelists, which you can ask to be shown.

Getting to your accommodation by taxi

You will find taxis directly at the jetty in La Gomera’s harbour towns. For a few Euros, they will take you directly to your apartment from the ferry harbours Playa Santiago and Valle Gran Rey.

If you are travelling from San Sebastian you should agree on a set price with the driver before travelling to your accommodation.
