The specialty of fried cheese with palm honey is highly recommended. Traditional Canary main meals such as rabbit in a typical sauce (conejo en salmorejo), lamb shanks (pierna de cordero) or the hearty meat stew (puchero) have been enjoyed by guests in the Restaurante El Palmar for years.
Fish lovers will enjoy the delicious fish stew (cazuela de pescado) and freshly caught fish.
The bananas with island palm honey (platanos con miel de palma) are unforgettable. As are the other desserts which perfectly round of a meal at El Palmar.
The adjoining, traditional bar offers local wines and strong spirits.
