Getting to your accommodation by rental car
Various car rental companies can be found in the ferry terminal in San Sebastian, as well as in Valle Gran Rey. It pays to have pre-booked however, because only a limited number of cars are available and the price is much higher on the island.
The minimum age requirement for the driver is 21 years. Petrol is very cheap on the Canary Islands, however, many petrol stations are closed at the weekend and on public holidays.
The speed limit in towns is 50kph, on country roads 100kph.
