Fred Olsen
The shipping company Fred Olsen combines with its large car ferries Benchijigua Express and Bonanza Express Tenerife and San Sebastian de la Gomera for years. Since March 2009 the small fast ferry Benchi Express also goes to Playa Santiago and Valle Gran Rey on La Gomera.
The Fred Olsen ferries Benchijigua Express, Bonanza Express and Benchi Express offer a pleasant crossing in about 40 minutes.
Comfortable crossing from Tenerife to La Gomera
With the big Fred Olsen ferries La Gomera can be reached safely from Tenerife.
The smaller ferry Benchi Express is a bit more maneuverable and is also able to go into the ports of Playa Santiago and Valle Gran Rey on La Gomera.
Fast car ferries: Bonanza & Benchijigua Express
The ferry Benchijigua Express is according to Lineas Fred Olsen is the largest fast ferry in the world. It goes like the ferry Bonanza Express from Los Cristianos on Tenerife to San Sebastian de la Gomera.
The comfortable trimaran ferry Benchijigua Express was built in 2005. It is a about 125 meters long and can carry 1291 passengers as well as 341 cars.
The ferry Bonanza Express is in operation since 1999, about 95 feet long and designed for 717 passengers and 227 cars.
Fast passenger ferry: Benchi Express
The passenger ferry Benchi Express runs since the end of March 2009 between between Tenerife and the three ports of La Gomera: Valle Gran Rey, Playa Santiago and San Sebastian.
Three times a day the Fred Olsen ferry Benchi Express goes between the islands and can carry about 330 passengers in each journey.

Etwa 1:45h vor Abfahrt des Schiffes fährt ein Olsen-Bus vom Busbahnhof in Santa Cruz nach Los Cristianos. Nach der Ankunft der Fähre aus La Gomera fährt der Olsen-Bus von Los Cristianos nach Santa Cruz (Busstation und Hafen) zurück. Tickets unbedingt gleich mit dem Fährticket zusammen reservieren! |
