Golf is becoming more and more popular on La Gomera. The combination of exercise, experiencing nature and relaxation could be the reason for this. La Gomera’s only golf course, so far, is in the south of the island.
The fairways on the wide back of the mountain Lomada de Tecina, above the harbour town Playa Santiago, allow for a wonderful view over the Atlantic.

The 18-hole (718 par) golf course near the Hotel Tecina is distinguished by its unique character.
The architect Donald Steel spread his creative golf course over 6.205 metres, on an area of 54 hectares.
Wonderful views of the island and over to the highest mountain in Spain, the Teide on Tenerife, can be enjoyed by golfers during their game.
